2016 BMW M2 Exterior, Interior

Riding on the success of the BMW’s 1 series M model released in 2011, the manufacturer is set to release the second in the series i.e. 2016 BMW M2. Though dubbed as a sort of experiment for the manufacture to determine whether there was a market for smaller versions of M3, the M1 quickly became a favorite for many BMW enthusiasts across the globe. The company has branded the new car as a “compact luxury” car set to fill the gap between M235i and M4.

The exterior of this car has been redesigned; specifically the ride height has been changed and the overall body will be more aerodynamic. Buyers will have an option to choose a new front grille. Both the front and rear bumpers have a chrome finish. The front will have a more aggressive front and sportier wheels. Pundits predict that the high performance variant will have larger-diameter wheels to go alongside the new, huge vented braking disks brakes. The rear will also feature a lip spoiler and twin exhaust pipes with a split bumper to help them fit. The car will also be lighter by about 250 pounds than the predecessor due to the use of a lighter chassis and materials.

The interior will also feature a few changes but most will be updates to the existing features. Credible sources indicate that the interior will have new leather seats and additional power specs for the dash board. The use of a light weight chassis will see the cabin receive more space as well as a better seating capacity for passengers.
