Under the hood, a 1.8 liter, 4-cylinder engine will deliver 138 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 127 pound-feet of torque, a significant improvement to the 1.5 liter Fit. It will include I-VTEC technology developed by Honda to improve efficiency. Buyers will be able to select their transmission: either a six-speed manual transmission for the 2WD model, a G-Design shift logic for the CVT model or real-time All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) with Intelligent Control for improved all-weather traction.nThe 2016 Honda HR-V will have a sporty look and an aggressive character as well produced by the muscular front fenders and grille that flows between the headlight casing. Inspired by the CR-V, it will have similar headlights and a sloped hood. However, it will be shorter than the CR-V, but a bit wider to increase room inside.

Wheels are made from aluminum-alloy and stylish; powered mirrors and tailgate locks will help make it a bit modern. Some other light touches include concealed door handles within the door panel and an upswept character line to match the hood’s inclination.
