Mitsubishi has been making its mark on the roads with its sports sedan category since the advent of Mitsubishi Lancer. The car has evolved to become one of the most desirable sports car. The Japan based car manufacturer has decided to launch the “last special edition” of Lancer Evolution or Evo series as we know it next year. Being a special last edition of its one of the most reputed car models there are loads of changes and upgrades being incorporated as a final farewell to the 2016 Mitsubishi EVO. Being a hybrid sports car, the automobile will have a more bold and aggressive looking chassis with considerable external and internal redesigning on the cards. The major changes will be seen in the front bumper and grill area. The grill has been redesigned and given a more sporty look with chrome accents and a satin finish. The new LED based headlights will feature consumption scoops for cooler air to pass through engine and brakes. The front lamps would also add to the masculine and sporty look of the premium sedan.

The interiors will continue to possess a lavish look in 2016 Mitsubishi EVO. Recaro bucket designed seats will provide the ultimate comfort. Few of the many features include a larger touchscreen control, parking assistant, and media streaming through Bluetooth, iPod, and USB syncing options. The music to the ears will be provided by 4 speakers of high acoustic quality.

The hybrid sports car is going to feature two options in the engine department. The buyer can choose from a basic turbocharged engine and an electric one. The turbocharged will be petrol based 2 liter 4 cylinder combination powering up to 291 horsepower. The amazing addition is the electric model that is rumored to be a two separate electric engines that makes it a hybrid sports sedan. The lithium battery support is supposed to increase the fuel economy when compared to its predecessor. Being the last model of Lancer Evolution series, 2016 Mitsubishi Evo XI is featuring many changes like all wheel drive mode. The sodium filled exhaust valves are supposedly put in place to curb Carbon-Di-oxide emissions. The car will be available in 5 colors including new gray hue shade. Apart from this, the Final Edition will be embedded in the rear to complete its class sporty look.

The car is set to hit the roads early in nearing end of 2015. The price for the base model will be around $38,000 and can go higher as the features are added. No matter what the Mitsubishi is not going to disappoint us with the last model of iconic Lancer Evolution series.
