2016 Nissan GTR Engine, Released

Nissan made its presense in the supercar scene back in 1969. Thats the year the first Nissan Skyline GTR was launched. Back then the Skyline GTR was a 4 door powerful car, which showed its dominance on the track as well as on the street. The R33 and R34 are the particular models that propelled the Nissan GTR to its current international stardom. Nissan recently revealed the 2016 Nissan GTR and even though it looks the same, a host of changes have been made to improve the drive. Lets take a closer look.

2016 Nissan GTR Exterior and Interior

The car virtually remains unchanged, but we are not complaining. The 2016 Nissan GT-R recieves updated headlamps, which look sharper but dont make much of a difference. The rear end of the GTR recieves new horizontal tail lamps along with a revised diffuser, this is the only drastic change seen on the exterior of the vehcile. Surprisingly no changes were made on the aerodynamic department of the vehcile, this would have mildy enhanced performance. The GTR now comes with an option of twin spoke Rays alloy wheel design which is available in hyper blue finish. There is a special track edition of the GTR as well, which come with flared fenders and aluminium alloy wheels. These enhansements have been made by Nismo for Nissan, but will only be available in a host of markets.

Absolutely nothing has been changed in this department. The only change one will notice is lesser cabin noise due to the redesinged flywheel bearings and revised drivestrain management system. This is the only modification that has been done for the interior of the vehicle. We would have expected a more sportingly desgined centre console and a more futuristic cabin, to give it a fresher feel. Ride quality. The ride quality has been taken into focus and Nissan has taken good measures to address this. Upgraded tyre quality and redesinged suspension design will be a welcome change for people who plan to use this car as a daily driver.
