2016 Volvo XC90 Changes

The new generation styling is perhaps well-accepted in Europe, but it is hardly that this look will find many admirers in the US. According to the words of the most prestigious car magazines in United States, this SUV is too humble and too simple for the US crowd. This all-new SUV has pretty much everything changed. Starting from the base, new XC90 is now built on Volvo’s new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA). This switch brought various other improvements for the model, including weight reduction. Exterior is quite simple, as we mentioned, but expensive. Each change is made in order to make 2016 Volvo XC90 body lines more subtle and sleek. Front grille is redesigned, as well as headlights and other design elements. Both front and rear lighting elements are upgraded and more luxurious than before. Wheels are offered in different sizes from 19- to 21-inch.

Interior of the model is more luxurious than the exterior. It is upholstered in leather, and accompanied with both aluminum and wood accents that give it even more upscale look and feel. It features 9- to 12.3-inch digital instrument display (depending on trim) which is the center point of the cabin. 2016 XC90 is available three trims, including Momentum, sporty R-Design and plush Inscription. The high level of the equipment is clear from the start. Even the base trim comes with panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, rearview camera, four-zone auto climate control, rear parking sensors, navigation system and 10-speaker sound system.
