2017 VW Beetle Exterior, Interior

This vehicle was initially conceptualized back in 2014, during the Detroit Motor Show. The 2017 VW Beetle’s release, though, doesn’t come through until two years after that initial conceptualization at least. It will be out for you to drive in 2017, though. The new VW Beetle has been styled to meet various off-road demands. It is basically the VW Beetle that you and I are used to, except it is sportier in terms of look and performance. It may seem a bit strange imagining a traditional VW Beetle as a sports car, but that is what the Germans have decided to give us. If you enjoy off-roading in a small vehicle, then you might just like this 2017 VW.

2017 VW Beetle Exterior and Interior

The exterior of the vehicle is stunning to say the least. The front looks a lot like the VW Beetles we see on the road. The back does too, but there is something about it that is all the more impressive (aesthetically, at least). The taillights are new and amazing, as is the spoiler. Compare it to the very first editions of this car and you will see why this newer sporty version that is the VW Beetle is so striking. The tyres are 19 inches with the posture of the rims expanded, and the lights shine with bright LED.

The  VW Beetle comes with a state-of-the-art AMOLED touchscreen user interface display that comes with a number of applications and functions to improve the driving experience (both in terms of functionality and comfort). With all the technological advancements the 2017 VW Beetle has gone through, however, it looks nothing like the original 1980s vehicle that burst onto the scene. It is unfortunate that the very roots of this car have been completely replaced.

2017 VW Beetle Engine

The VW Beetle runs on a 2 litre, direct injection four cylinder turbo engine that can put out 210 horsepower along with 207 pounds of torque. The transmission is six-speed DSG, and it is also four-wheel drive. It takes about 7 seconds to get from 0 to 60 mph. This is certainly not in the territory of a supercar, but is still impressive. It does 29 miles to the gallon on the highway, and 23 miles to the gallon in a city.
